GM Paxson: No Kobe Deal will get done for Kobe


Chicago general manager John Paxson put an end to more than a week of feverish speculation, declaring, "There's not a deal to be done" in the Kobe Bryant sweepstakes following Thursday's practice.

"It's time to put it to rest," Paxson said.

I guess there will be no Kobe in Jordan land.

Gordan wants a $70 Million contract extension!


According to the New York Daily News Ben Gordan is looking for a contract extension worth at least around the $70 million mark, but the Bulls are not willing to give him more then Kirk Hinrich who got a 45 million contract extension last season. Ben Gordan has to realize it takes more then just scoring to earn his money.

Big Ben Allowed to wear head band in upcoming season!


One of the big things on Ben Wallace's mind this upcoming season was would he be able to wear his trademark head band once again, and that desire became a reality once again when Bulls coach Scott Skiles made an exception of the rule for Big Ben.

"We still have a no-headband rule," Skiles told reporters. "I just left it up to the guys who have been here if they wanted to make an exception for Ben. I was fine with it. They were fine with it."
